Palestine Telecommunications Company/Jawwal- Financial Results for the first quarter of 2025
Ramallah, May 14, 2025
Palestine Telecommunications Company/Jawwal disclosed its consolidated financial statements for the first quarter of 2025. The company reported total revenues of 62.9 million Jordanian Dinars, compared to 57.5 million Jordanian Dinars in 2024, reflecting an increase of 9.5%. Net profit for the first quarter of 2025 reached 7.9 million Jordanian Dinars, compared to 6.2 million Jordanian Dinars for the same period last year.
This increase is mainly driven by improved revenues compared to the first quarter of 2024, while maintaining the same level of operational efficiency, despite the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip. The company intensified its efforts to ensure service continuity by implementing alternative technological solutions to address the destruction of telecommunications infrastructure. These efforts included the launch of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) broadband services and Business Wi-Fi services in cooperation with local dealers. These initiatives enabled connectivity for over 200 networks and more than 180,000 users daily, pending the full rehabilitation of the infrastructure and telecommunications network in the Gaza Strip.
In addition, the company continued developing its services in the West Bank despite the difficult conditions, driven by its strong belief in its role as a cornerstone for the development of many economic sectors, reinforcing its leading position in the Palestinian telecommunications and information technology sector.
Palestine Telecommunications Company / Jawwal, established in 1995 as a public shareholding company, connects Palestine through a modern network encompassing cellular and fixed-line communications, internet services, and information technology solutions. Today, it serves over three million subscribers across all sectors.
