Paltel Group donated a number of computer sets, laser printers, and telephone sets to a group of municipalities and organizations in the West Bank. In Jerusalem, Paltel Group representative handed three computer sets to the Sawahreh AlSharqia Municipality. In Bethlehem, the delegation visited three areas and donated three computer sets to the Hussan Municipality, three computer sets to the AlEbeidia Municipality, and three other computer sets to the Aldooha Municipality. In Hebron, the delegation visited Yatta Municipality and presented two computer sets. At the end, the delegation donated a number of computer sets to the AlAqsa Elementary School (B).
 
Mayors and institutions’ officials were present to welcome the delegations. They all appreciated Paltel’s role in supporting and developing the Palestinian Community and its institutes. Moussa Abu Arkob, civil defense employee at the Yatta Municipality, mentioned that the computer sets are really needed and they will render the work of the Civil Defense Department and will make it much easier. He thanked Paltel Group for the huge responsibility it is assuming towards the national institutions and handed a letter of appreciation to the Group.
 
The Headmistress of the AlAqsa Elementary School (B) in Hebron stressed that this donation is needed and it will facilitate the work of the teachers in preparing schedules and other papers. It will also give an opportunity for the pupils to get introduced to the computer and its applications. In his part, Mr. Raed Awad, person in charge for the Social Responsibility Fund at Paltel Group in the Southern Areas said that the Social Responsibility Fund continues to support the various sectors among the Palestinian population with an aim at achieving development and growth in the different technological, cultural, and health aspects. He added that the CSR Fund’s achievements for 2005 at all the cultural, the educational, and the health aspects are noticeable. He stressed that Paltel Group will continue to support the Palestinian Community. He added that donations of the Fund are detailed in the Annual Report that was presented at the Paltel General Assembly Meeting.
