By huge public presence, Wednesday on Ramadan 14th was the final game for the Futsol championship of private sector institutions in Gaza sponsored by Paltel Group. The final has joint Paltel and Jawwal teams and concluded by deserved victory of Jawwal by four goals to zero.
The beginning of the first half was equal until Jawwal team could score its first goal by its player Ghassan Kollab followed by Mohammad Al-Shaikh Eid confirmation of Jawwal progress by scoring the second goal. Jawwal team depended on the fast offence from the two sides of the playground which endangered the Paltel’s net and at that time Paltel offence was deficient for the extra preparation in the middle of the play ground and lack shootings towards the goal. In the second half, Paltel team started the offence to compensate the result and it had many chances to score, but it was unsuccessful, and so Jawwal team was able to score two goals through its pressure by the counterattacks. The goals of the second half were scored by Mohammad Zahrah and Ghassan Kollab and the game was concluded in four clean goals.
It is worthy mentioning the championship began on Ramadan 10th and it was joined, besides Jawwal and Paltel, by Bank of Palestine, Cairo-Amman Bank, Arab Bank and the team of Telecommunication and Information Technology Union.
In a pleasant conclusion ceremony, the organizing committee handed over the cycle awards whereas the team of Cairo- Amman Bank received the cub of best collective playing. Bank of Palestine player Wasim Qassab was awarded the title of best player and Paltel Basem Attileh received the title of the cycle sharpshooter. Paltel team receive the silver medals prior to awarding the championship cub to Jawwal team leader Shadi Naser and the golden medals to the team members, then the ceremonies of Jawwal supporters started and continued to the early hours of the next day morning.
